Re: first launch

Hi,

In the upcoming version of Bytecent you will not need to enter the code hourly. Until the next release you can avoid entering the code every hour by having Bytecent in your wallet. There isn't a walk through at this time.

Christopher

Re: Wallet won't sync

Hello,

Are you installing the latest Bytecent? You can download it here: http://62.151.181.30/downloads/bytecent.exe

Re: Mining newbie questions

That is a feature of Bytecent. If you want to mine longer you need to have more Bytecent in your wallet.

Re: Mining algorithm for Bytecent

Hi,

I do not plan on changing the algo. I want people with average computers to be able to mine without having to invest in expensive mining equipment.

Hi Steven,

Re: Mining newbie questions

Hello Chris,

You will need to add this to your conf file: genproclimit=x

x is the number of cores you want Bytecent to use. You will need to reduce the cores to prevent hitting the PPS limit. So if you have 16 cores you will need to put this genproclimit=15

Re: Current PoB value

The current POB value is on the mining tab. However, in a future release POB will be removed completely.
